O poder de uma fotografia
A fotografia proporciona a oportunidade ao fotógrafo de fazer com que as pessoas que vêem a fotografia vejam as coisas pelo seu olhar e sua maneira de pensar. Para além de escrever, os resultados dos estudos universitários da Inês são bem visíveis pela fotografia. A fotografia é mais uma grande paixão.
A Inês trabalhou com fotógrafos profissionais holandeses e ela própria como fotógrafa no jornal da Universidade de Ball State em Muncie, Indiana. Mais ainda; fez reportagens fotográficas de casamentos e eventos desportivos e sociais com bastante sucesso ao longo da década de 90.
Sempre teve o sonho de ver publicada em qualquer jornal ou revista a fotografia que tirou dos seus colegas debaixo do vulcão de água na Expo ’98. E agora 20 anos mais tarde ela consegue finalmente concretizar o seu sonho ao poder publicar e ver publicada a foto no seu website.
Teve um enorme prazer em fazer uma sessão fotográfica para o jornal de Ball State com a polícia da cidade. Foi uma experiência divertidíssima ser ela a dizer aos policiais como se deveriam comportar e quais as suas melhores posições físicas face a camara.
The power of a photo
A photograph has the power to allow the photographer to have the opportunity to make the viewer see things through his/her eyes and his/her way of thinking. In addition to writing, the results of Inês's university studies are well visible in photography. Photography is just another great passion.
Inês worked with professional Dutch photographers and herself as a photographer at the Ball State University newspaper in Muncie, Indiana. Throughout the 1990s shewas the photographer at several weddings, sporting and social events with success.
She had always had the dream to see published in a newspaper or magazine the photograph she took of her colleagues under the volcano of water on September 30, 1998, the last day of Expo '98. 20 years later she finally realizes her dream by being able to publish her photo on her own website.
She remembers what great fun it was in doing a photo shoot for the Ball State newspaper with the city police department. It was such fun experience to tell the cops how they should behave for the camera instead of the other way around.
